Traveling back east to be with family is a PERFECT way to end out the year.
I really am a family oriented person & even though I love being out in California, being away from family is super hard. So I definitely am going to soak in and cherish every moment these next few weeks. Corey and I took a red eye flight out of LA around 10 PM PST and flew into D.C. Even though we tried, it was super hard to sleep on the plane so if we were lucky, we got about 2 hours before landing in D.C. I wish I could say that was all the traveling we had to do, but from there, landing at 5:15 AM EST, we had to get a rental and head 5 hours to WV to my mom's side of the family. We were exhausted but, again, I am here to cherish every moment. Our next few weeks will be hectic and constantly on the go, but man, oh man, does it feel good to be back with family. First will be with my family and then off to NJ for Corey's family. This will be my last blog post of the year but I wanted to let you all know that I appreciate all of you and I wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a wonderful start to the New Year. Appreciate each moment. Live to the fullest, and even though I know being around family, can sometimes drive you bonkers, enjoy every single moment with them. We are not guaranteed tomorrow and family is the most important thing in this world. Not fame, not money, none of that matters if you do not have someone to share it with. Yes a little sentimental, perhaps even harsh, but I know being lucky to get once a year to see family for only a few days, is worth every second. Be prepared for more wonderful updates start of the year! I can't wait to start off right, have a lot of goals to crush and ready to rock 2016!!

Again, I can not believe we are already at the end of 2015. I remember being a kid, thinking, time went by so so so slow. Now, it is just flying by. It can slow down, right?
So much has happened with this year, I have no idea where to begin. I became a part of an improv group known as Group Text, I found some really amazing and talented friends from there and with my AMAW family and I have learned more ways to keep healthy and spread that to my husband, family, friends, and pretty much anyone that wants my help. Let me start first with AMAW. This studio is amazing. Just pure love and joy. I look forward every Thursday to make that long commute in LA traffic, so I can get inspired with all my talented friends in class. I know I owe so much to my self confidence, growth from my amazing teacher, Nina Paul Rausch, and all the wonderful classmates. The class grew smaller as the year drew to the end, but I am so happy to say that those that had to take time off will be coming back in the New Year. Any that is serious about acting and know that you can never stop taking classes, this is the place to go! Moving right along to LA Connection Comedy Theatre.... Corey and I had to take these last few months off due to traveling and being on a budget, so we definitely miss being able to rehearse weekly and be a part of shows. But, we did find out that our wonderful theatre in Sherman Oaks will soon be relocating to Burbank and I am super excited about it. It is in a wonderful spot, and I am sure will help bring more people in due to the great location. I am super excited now for this is the week of prepping to head back east. Not excited for the packing( I mean, who loves to pack??!?) but Corey and I will be taking the rest of the year to take the time to be with family. First will be my family in West Virginia, and then the long drive to New Jersey to be with his. It will never be long enough of a visit but we are blessed that we have been able to get home to spend this time of year with them. I am super excited to be able to see my wonderful niece and 2 nephews. It is so hard being away from them and they are growing up so fast, but I know California is the place I need to be and it will all pay off. I am already saying, when that time comes, I am taking them to Disney!! The new year is going to be a busy one but I am excited to see what everything holds for us. I know patience is a virtue and it is sometimes hard to stay on that for we are a want it now kind of pace! But, I am putting my trust in the process and ready to hit it hard start of the year. My goal is to get theatrical representation within the first few months of the year. I want to book a guest star role and start getting weekly auditions. I also want to be able to help so many others with health and fitness with my own work( that I'm so blessed to have so I can have the time to be an actor) to grow their own health and fitness, and live their life by design. Also, completely random but have to share an update. Corey & I are in our last week of 21 Day Fix Extreme and I can not be more RELIEVED! It has been super hard but that was to be expected, but I will be happy it is over when it is. We have not been perfect, meaning a couple of slip-ups, but I did measure my waist today and have lost 1 inch! Feeling better and can not wait to see the final results before flying out east! Here's to a wonderful Merry Christmas spent with those you love and a Happy New Year!
I'm so super excited to start the year off right!
I have been waiting very patiently for this program since I got word of it in July. I absolutely love Autumn Calabrese, and she is the one I am working with now with 21 Day Fix Extreme. Ending my week 2 and getting ready to start week 3. Combined with her kick butt style, Sagi Kalev is teaming up to add the power and strength to the workout. He is the creator of Body Beast and actually he was the one that got me to love weight training. I was not too much into lifting weights but he definitely changed my mind, for we need some weight training every now and then to help build muscle so we can burn and melt away the unwanted fat.
_I'm sharing this for I will always put an importance on health and fitness. Your body is your instrument and we have to take care of it. This is going to be a workout like no other I have done before. Taking the knowledge of Autumn and Sagi, adding on the containers to help me stay on track with my portions and eating right---I am going to have an amazing 60 day transformation!
My husband will be doing this with me and with that, I wanted to offer a way for you to join us and we can do this together. We are having a private group kicking off on Jan. 4th where we will all check in (online) so you can do this anywhere, and keep each other accountable. This seriously will have it all.. the complete package- much better than what I can get in a gym doing something on my own. Also, I can take this to the gym as well which is a win win for me! IF you would like to join our exclusive group or find out more--> just click the link https://www.facebook.com/events/1032055810150940/
Let us start the year off right. Let us take care of our instruments. Let us put Health first. Let us continue to indulge in personal development and better ourselves.
let's do this together! So much has happened this past year. I can't believe I have already been living out in California for over a year. I met some amazing people who inspire me, have made so much progress in discovering who I am and living out my purpose, and so much more
I can go on and on about so much I am grateful for and things I am looking forward to, but I just want to make this short and sweet. AMAW-- my Thursday nights. My new Family. Not all is pictured for this was our last class and it being the holiday season, so many were out. But, I just have to say I truly have grown from this studio and I love each and every one of these talented artists. I am inspired each and every week watching them create and it reminds me why I am here, why I moved out here, leaving our family behind and so far away, and the fire in my heart keeps staying lit. I sense the universe working the way as it should and I really do see some big things on the horizon for 2016...... I am so Blessed... I love my Team Thursday and they are my family! Okay. I will admit it. I have been absent FAR too long. It is completely my fault & I blew it. I will be up front and honest that it takes some time for me to find a consistent routine and I had it for my once a week blogs...that was until I was taken out of my element and went on vacation. A Disney vacation to be exact! No complaints here. I am a huge Disney fan(as I hope you know by now) and I completely missed being able to spend time at the most Magical place on Earth. I got to spend quality time with my husband and his parents and being away from Disney World for 2 years, a lot has changed. It was like I was seeing it for the first time ALL over again. I was a kid again. I had fun again. I left all the worries and stress that being an adult in this world can bring, and let myself fully immerse in this experience. With that, I unplugged. With that, I stay off social media only to post updates...so yes, my blog stopped with it. But, now I am back & I promise, I will do my best to keep my weekly blogs up to date, even when enjoying such a Magical Place. Here's a little look at some of the wonderful time all of us had during our week vacation in Florida. We also got to explore the new Harry Potter at Universal Studios and I was so so excited to witness it. If you are a fan of the books, and of course seen the movies, walking into Diagon Alley...you really feel like you are in the books!
But, I can go on and on and share so many pictures--if you would like to see them, always comment and I Will be sure to post them up! But I wanted to end with this last update. Corey and I have started a new workout program,(well, I have done this before but not to that extent. We are really taking it to the Extreme for the end of the year. SO many of us use these last few months as a time to slack off, let ourselves go and then of course we are 5-10 pounds heavier the start of the year. Now, we take our health pretty seriously, but we still let ourselves indulge in a few not so healthy choices, every now and then. I mean, we should also be able to enjoy the sweeter things in life and that is why I love this lifestyle. But, after we have indulged a little too much at Disney..oh yes it was insane how much we were not able to resist the Disney shaped desserts and our bellies definitely let us know how they felt about it...plus Thanksgiving following the next week, we had to step it up a notch or two... We are training with Autumn Calabrese with 21 Day Fix Extreme but not just doing the workouts and the meal plan with portion color coded containers, which is extreme within itself..but we are taking the 21 days to follow a Countdown to Competition eating plan, that Autumn uses before she does her bikini competitions. So really strict on what we eat. But it is only 21 days and we want to end the year out stronger than we began it. So you can definitely expect updates on this as we go along. We are rounding out our first week and here are our Before Pictures from Day 1! |
